It has been a BUSY week...and it just keeps on going!

This past week has been a busy one...not only at work, but at home too. We just brought Zoey home last weekend and it's been an amazing experience to see how much she has grown both physically and mentally in the past week. When she went to the vet the Tuesday before the Saturday that we brought her home, she weighed only 2.4 pounds. She has easily gained 1/2 or maybe even a full pound since then. Last weekend she was a very shaky walker, and now she is running all over the place!

I am happy to say that she is adjusting just fine and she is healthy, happy, and frisky...as a puppy should be. :) We start our puppy training classes tomorrow and they run for the next ten weeks. Luckily they are on Monday evenings so that I still have my weekends off! Woot!

I'm sorry that I haven't been around to anyone's blogs lately or that I haven't tried to contact you via email...things have just been so crazy here that I need as much time as possible during my off time to recharge my batteries for the busy time I know is coming for the rest of the day or week. Zoey needs constant attention and care right now as she is still very young, so this is my main concentration while I am at home.

I've posted some pics on my Flickr account for anyone interested and I'm keeping tally of her age in the pics as well so that I can remember what she looked like at which age. Her and Milo have hit it off amazingly and what I hoped would happen has...Milo has a small playmate to keep him happy and active if and when the humans of the house are too busy doing human stuff to play with him. :) They are constantly playing with each other, or cuddling, and she is learning a lot from both of my older dogs in regards to doggy social skills. Sheila doesn't care for her much, but that was expected. Sheila doesn't really like other dogs too much, other than Milo...so I've been having to keep a VERY close eye on her. She doesn't get to spend time with the puppy, as she doesn't seem to want to. She's more happy laying on her couch and watching them play. :)

So, here are a couple pictures to share, but if you want to see more, go HERE. :)
